Joseph Walker-Cousins MBE
Joseph Walker-Cousins is Director of Consulting and Head of Strategic Business Development at In Veritate, where he advises clients operating across complex international and emerging market environments.
Alongside his work with In Veritate, Joseph currently serves as Head of International Business Development for a Saudi-based digital health transformation company, supporting regional commercial engagement and strategic growth initiatives across the Middle East.
Prior to founding In Veritate, Joseph led strategic business development activities for the Middle East region within KBR Government Solutions, supporting engagement across government, infrastructure, and major programme environments. His work has included supporting complex international development and project environments involving government, infrastructure, security, and cross-border commercial stakeholders.
Joseph previously served with the UK Armed Forces in Iraq and Afghanistan and later held diplomatic assignments with the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office, including as Head of the British Embassy Office in Benghazi, Libya. He has also acted as a specialist advisor to the UK House of Commons Foreign Affairs Select Committee.
He holds a Master’s degree from the SOAS University of London and is a Senior Fellow with the Institute for Statecraft and Global Fellow at the Project for the Study of the 21st Century.
